I’m super happy to announce the release of Deadly Pack, the third book in the Deadly Trilogy!

 

Since becoming the alpha female of the Dog Mountain pack, Jade certainly has had her share of challenges.  She’s had to prove herself to a bunch of werewolves that she spent years hating; forgive her mate who’d done nothing but lie to her, and face the grueling fact that her father leads a pack of werecougars, who are responsible for tormenting her werewolves for many years.

On the upside, the Dog Mountain pack is finally coming together—now that Jade and Aidan’s mate status is official.  And now that they know where her father’s been hiding his nasty pack of beasts, Jade and Aidan can concentrate on stopping them once and for all.

But when Jade’s dad finds out that she’s become Aidan’s official mate, all hell breaks loose, and Jade and Aidan soon learn that his plans for their werewolves are bigger than anyone could have ever suspected.

When Aidan brings in a new set of enforcers to weed out the problems within the pack, Jade is forced to delve into the center of the issue. She soon realizes that she is the indirect cause of the uneasiness within the pack, and if Jade doesn’t fix it, she’ll lose everything, even Aidan.

Deadly Mates Excerpt

CHAPTER 1

 

~ JADE ~

I shuddered as flares of hot adrenaline shot through my limbs.  My legs crunched and snapped, a hollow, echoing sound, as they twisted and reformed.  It was weird shifting; I could feel each bone in my body bend and break, but it was also a rush — electric.  My face was numb and tingly as my snout became a nose.  I still expected it to hurt.  It sure sounded painful.  But it wasn’t.  The adrenaline that came with the shift was invigorating, coursing through my blood and sending each nerve ending into a breathtaking current of delirious heat.  God, how I love this feeling.

The cool fall breeze prickled along my bare skin, littering it with goose bumps, but I hardly noticed.  My heart was thrumming against my ribs, and my breath, short and fast.  I lay on my back, the cold grass tickling my sensitive skin, as I gazed up at the canopy of trees overhead, catching my breath.  The leaves danced in the wind, a mixture of pumpkin and cherry and lemon.  A few fell from the branches, floating to the ground around me.

“Does it hurt?” I asked, and then swallowed hard. I lifted my hand and dabbed at the blood, wiping it away as best I could. “I hope it does. You’ve ruined everything.” Even though I said the words, they held no meaning. My voice was weak, straining against an onslaught of emotion blooming within my chest.

 

“No,” he grunted. “It’s already healed.” He grabbed my wrist, holding my shaking hand still. “I did what was needed. You’re not staying here any longer, Jade. This little game you’re playing ends now. I’m taking you home, where you belong.”

 

I clucked my tongue and dropped my gaze. More butterflies surfaced in my belly and I breathed, “This is where I belong.”

 

“Look me in the eyes and tell me that,” he said. When I didn’t lift my head he chuckled, a deep rumble that turned my knees to mush. “You can’t, can you?”
